Texas Lutheran University seeks to maintain close relationships with the churches in our 3 supporting synods. TLU, a ministry of the congregations of the Southwestern Texas, Texas-Louisiana Gulf Coast and Northern Texas-Northern Louisiana Synods of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, is a community of learning and a community of faith. Congregations can support TLU in a variety of ways by having congregational advocates, contributing to the congregational aid program, participating in church events on campus, and by encouraging students to consider TLU.
