2013 Spring Choir Tour Dates & Locations
Under the direction of Dr. Douglas R. Boyer, director of the TLU School of Music and Choral Activities, the TLU Choir, Women's Choir and Kantorei Chamber Choir will perform “Light Breaks Through.”

This eclectic program will examine the personal journey from darkness to light with pieces by composers Sweelinck, Brahms, Abbie Betinis, Susan LaBarr, Eliza Gilkyson, William Averitt and Eric Whitacre, among others.

Premiering Works
Premiere of major new works by composer William Averitt
As TLU's Spring 2012 Visiting Artist, Averitt was commissioned for two works premiered during last year's Choir Tour—read about it in the March 2012 issue of Torch magazine. TLU is proud to once again have two newly commissioned works, folk tunes from the British Isles, to premiere during the 2013 Choir Tour.
