MARSHALL, Texas – The Texas Lutheran Bulldogs rebounded from its first American Southwest Conference loss (on Friday) with two conference victories Saturday in ASC cross-division play.
The Bulldogs defeated Mary Hardin-Baylor 25-20, 24-26, 18-25, 25-19, 15-11 and defeated Mississippi College 15-25, 25-16, 25-20, 25-19.
The victories move TLU to 10-3 overall and to 7-1 in the ASC West Division.
The Bulldogs currently hold a half-game lead over Hardin-Simmons (10-5, 7-2 ASC West) in the division race.
TLU returns home to Seguin to prepare for Tuesday’s home match with ASC West rival Schreiner. The match in TLU’s Tostengard Activity Center is set for 6 p.m.
