RICHARDSON, Texas – At Canyon Creek Country Club, the Texas Lutheran Bulldogs posted a fifth-place finish at the University of Texas at Dallas Lady Comet Invitational, which concluded Tuesday after a final 18 holes.
Hardin-Simmons won the tournament with a team score of 719. McMurry (725), University of Texas at Tyler (730), and Mary Hardin-Baylor (746) rounded out the top four.
Placing behind Texas Lutheran were Texas-Dallas (771) and Texas A&M International (889).
TLU sophomore Angela Aufderhaar led the Bulldogs with an eight-place tie after back-to-back rounds of 91.
Fellow sophomore Carly Hansen tied for 15th after rounds of 94 and 92. Tara Seider placed 23rd, and Amy Jones tied for 25th. Andrea Ramirez finished in 32nd.
