Jason Foley is coming off a career year as the team’s starting first baseman. He’s expected to man first base once again for nearly the entire year. He could see the occasional start as a designated hitter. Foley is one of the team’s best power hitters. He has a great eye at the plate, and he is improving to cut down on his strikeouts.
