SEGUIN, Texas – Mississippi College broke open a 1-1 game with two goals late in the first half on the way to recording a 4-1 conference win Saturday over Texas Lutheran.
At TLU’s Gustafson Field, the Choctaws received goals from Barry Prather, Brandon Mitchell, Dylan Boudreaux, and Chris Penton.
TLU tied the match at 1-1 on penalty kick by Pedro Martinez.
MC improved to 10-4-3 overall and to 5-3-3 in the American Southwest Conference.
TLU dropped to 3-10-2 overall and to 3-6-2 in the ASC.
