Own goal gives TLU men's soccer 1-0 win

SEGUIN, Texas - An own goal in the 52nd minute gave the Texas Lutheran Bulldogs a 1-0 American Southwest Conference victory Saturday over Concordia Texas.

At TLU's Gustafson Field, the own goal went into the Concordia net at 52:49.

TLU won its second straight match after starting the year winless over its first nine matches. The Bulldogs improved to 2-8-1 overall and to 2-4-1 in the ASC.

Concordia dropped to 3-6-2 overall and to 1-5-2 in the ASC.

Trey Tesno, TLUís goalkeeper, made seven saves on all seven Concordia shots on goal.

Ubaldo Vazquez recorded 11 saves on the 12 TLU shots on goal.

TLU out-shot Concordia 24-8.
