SEGUIN, Texas – The Texas Lutheran Bulldogs ended the 2008-09 season with an 82-79 home loss Saturday afternoon to Hardin-Simmons.
In an attempt to force overtime, TLU’s Michael Flores (Spring/Klein Collins) launched a three-pointer with three second to play in regulation. The ball bounced off the side of the rim and into the hands of the Cowboys’ Casey Riddle as time expired.
HSU improved to 9-16 overall and to 8-13 in the ASC West Division. HSU just missed qualifying for the ASC Championship Tournament.
