TLU Athletics Wall of Honor

All nominations received shall become part of the committee's permanent file. In some instances, the nomination will be held until the individual becomes eligible.

Criteria for selection:

• The honor will be made to individuals who have rendered outstanding service to TLU in athletics and who have received a degree
• An athlete must have lettered in one or more sports
• An athlete will not be considered until at least 10 years after his/her class has graduated
• The athletic performance of the individual must have been clearly outstanding
• The candidate must be approved by two-thirds of all the members of the selection committee
• Normally, no more than three individuals may be selected in a single year
• A coach or athletics director who did not participate in sports at the university shall not be eligible until after he/she has retired or until five years after he/she left the institution prior to being nominated
• The requirement of having received a degree may be waived at the discretion of the selection committee

Selection Committee:
The selection committee shall consist of nine members appointed by the university president in consultation with the athletics director.
