- Application for admission including $40 application fee; waived prior to February 1
- Official high school transcript sent directly from your high school
- Official SAT and/or ACT scores
- Writing sample
- Recommendation letter from your high school counselor or a teacher of a core academic subject
If you meet either of the criteria below you will be accepted under TLU's assured admission policy. A writing sample and recommendation letter are generally not required with assured admission, however, the admissions committee may ask for additional documentation before reaching an admissions decision.
Option 1: Students who have an academic core grade point average (GPA) of at least a 3.50 (on a 4.0 scale) and rank in the top 15% of their high school graduating class. Note: Official ACT or SAT scores are required for merit scholarship consideration and advising.
Option 2: Students who have earned a composite ACT score of at least 24 (1090 SAT combined score on the Math and Critical Reading sections) and an academic core GPA of at least a 3.00 (on a 4.0 scale)
