Filing your FAFSA
You must file the FAFSA each year in order to receive a financial aid package from Texas Lutheran University. Certain aid is limited, and is awarded until funds are depleted. In order to ensure your consideration for such aid, you should file your FAFSA as soon as possible.
To have your FAFSA information sent directly to TLU, enter Federal School Code 003641.
You will need your tax return as well as your parents' tax information to complete the FAFSA.
If this is your first time filing the FAFSA, you must apply for a PIN number. If you have filed before, but have forgotten your PIN, you can retrieve it here.
Parents of dependent students must apply for a PIN as well in order to complete their portion of the FAFSA.
If you are a foster youth or ward of the court, click here for tips on completing your FAFSA.
