Dr. Abbasian's areas of research are numerical analysis, computational fluid dynamics, use of computer algebra systems (CAS) in teaching mathematics, and iterative methods.

Sam Hijazi, associate professor; doctorate (DBA in information systems) from the University of Sarasota.

Dr. Hijazi's areas of interest include knowledge management, system development methodologies, and creative information systems.


Larry W. Noggle, assistant professor; master of science from The Ohio State University; doctorate (Ph.D. in nuclear engineering) from The Ohio State University.

Dr. Noggle's interests include mathematics, theology, U.S. Defense Department Major Acquisition Program Management, U.S. Defense Department Research and Development, and the U.S. Defense Department Acquisition Process.


Betseygail Rand, assistant professor, doctorate (Ph.D. in mathematics) from the University of Texas in Austin.

Dr. Rand's areas of research is dynamical systems and geometry, with a specific interest in the theory of tiling spaces.


Hernan Rivera, professor; master of arts from University of Oregon; doctorate (Ph.D. in mathematics) from Southern Illinois University.

Dr. Rivera has researched dynamical systems. He also is interested in functional analysis and linear algebra.


John T. Sieben, professor, dean, College of Arts and Science; master of science from University of Missouri at Kansas City; master of science from Texas State University; doctorate (Ph.D. in mathematics) from the University of Missouri at Kansas City.

Dr. Sieben has researched complex function theory. His current interests include geometric exploration software and teaching with technology.


Linda F. Wilson, associate professor, master of science and doctorate (Ph.D. in electrical and computer engineering) from the University of Texas at Austin .

Dr. Wilson's areas of interest include various aspects of network security and distributed computing.
