Student Education Association    -     Welcome Back!

The Student Education Association will meet every other Tuesday at 5:00. The meetings will be held in Tschoepe Hall room 251. 
If you would like to be part of SEA and cannot make the meetings, please contact one of the officers or the faculty sponsor. 
Our officers for this 2008-2009 school year are:

Our first meeting of the New School Year will be Tuesday, August 26, 2008 in TH251 at 5:00 P.M.
The SEA faculty sponsor is Professor Anna Bergstrom. We are looking forward to a very productive year!

Student Teacher Applicants: Those who want to student teach during the 2008-2009 school year, must submit an application to the Education office. This application is available as a word document: Student Teacher Application

TEACH  Applicants: Those students who wish to apply for the TEACH program, must attend three TEACH meetings and submit a formal (typed) application to the Education office.  This application is available to you as a Word document here: TEACH Application

The upcoming TEACH meetings will be held in Tschoepe Hall Room 103 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. on Thursdays; September 11, September 18, and September 25, 2008.

Competency Notebook: Start preparing for your TExES exams now at
http://www.sbec.state.tx.us, on the left side choose Standards & Testing, then choose Study Guides & Preparation Manuals, then choose TExES from the list.  That will take you to an alternate site (http://texes.ets.org/).  On the left side of that page choose Preparation Materials which will lead you to the page all the preparation manuals are listed.  Under Manuals - Texas - your field/your PPR manual

The deadline for submission of requests and all necessary documentation for alternative testing arrangements is the regular registration deadline. Because of space, staff, and time constraints, there can be no assurance that requests received after this deadline can be accommodated.
Internet Registration
All registration periods. To register on the Internet, your registration must be completed by
5:00 p.m. central time on the registration deadline for the period.
U.S. Mail Registration
Regular registration period only. To register by mail, your registration materials must be postmarked by the regular registration deadline.
*For the October administration only, the test will be administered at a limited number of sites throughout Texas. 
 
The closest testing centers to Seguin are Texas State University, San Marcos and UTSA in San Antonio.
