Dr. Abbasian has graduate degrees in both Engineering and Mathematics with primary interest in applied mathematics. He contributes to the international flavor of the faculty with his multi-lingual skills. A two-sport letter winner in college, he competed for many years in the AA division of the U.S. Volleyball association. He has many publications in the area of Numerical Analysis and has co-authored a textbook in the use of symbolic manipulators in teaching vector calculus.
